BOGOTA, Colombia—Conservative ex-defense minister Juan Manuel Santos won Colombia’s presidential runoff vote Sunday taking 69.2 percent of the poll with 53.9 percent of votes counted, the National Electoral Board said.
Santos, who will succeed popular two-term President Alvaro Uribe, defeated Green Party rival Antanas Mockus, a former Bogota mayor who drew 27.4 percent of the vote, the board added.
